Lyme disease and Co-infections is one of the more complex illnesses to treat in general from any practitioner’s point of view. And there is as much difficulty in finding a diagnosis worldwide, though in some countries there is more information than others, as there is finding the methods and medicines to treat it.
My experience with Lyme Disease
From my own recovery through Lyme disease I have gained insight into what supports the body and mind and what one needs to navigate one’s way through chronic ill health from Lyme to recovery and balance. Homeopathy is one of the greatest tools one can use to balance the systems and the mind. It is safe and non-toxic which is a very important part of this medicine as in Lyme the body is already overburdened by the bacterial and viral load and adding more toxic substances or medicines can create even more stresses on the body.

I use many forms to support a patient through Lyme using Homeopathy .Many methodologies – through Constitutional prescribing to miasmatic treatment –dealing with underlying causes and susceptibilities – to organ and tissue support and the human chemistry model of detox. I understand the need to boost the immunity and address the lymph, liver and most importantly the gut health of the patient before one can consider detoxing the bacterial and viral load of the body. This of course is all in the case of chronic Lyme, and the varying stages of the illness. In acute Lyme it is a different scenario.

From acute illness to coping with long term Lyme Disease
When one has recently been bitten by a tick or vector (as other vectors can also carry this disease) there may or may not be a bulls eye rash occurring and symptom of a flu like illness may appear. This is more common but there are those that never have a rash and also do not show initial symptoms. It can be months or years later that the issues begin. In all cases of recently being bitten there are remedies we can use to help the body ward off this disease. I also offer to my clients the facility to potentise ticks that were kept from the initial bite and put in alcohol solution. This is another potent remedy choice for the client. There are a few steps one can take to ward off the illness from what to topically apply, to what remedies to take and for how long and what dosage.
